Book Review - The Fear by CL Taylor

Welcome to my Review of The Fear by CL Taylor! This phenomenal book is out now with Avon! Sometimes your first love won’t let you go… Lou Wandsworth is used to being headline news as, aged fourteen, she ran away to France with her 31-year-old teacher, Mike Hughes. Now 32, Lou’s life is in tatters – and she resolves to return home to confront Mike for the damage he has caused. But she soon finds that Mike is unchanged, and is focussing his attention on 13-year-old Chloe Meadows. Determined to make sure that history doesn’t repeat itself, Lou decides to take matters into her own hands. But Mike is a predator of the worst kind, and as she tries to bring him to justice, it’s clear that Lou could once again become his prey… What I Say: It isn't very often that a book grabs from the synopsis and demands that I read it. But this somehow always happens with C.L Taylor books. I read the blurb and just know instantly that I am in for a rollercoaster r

I'm Baaaaack!

I'm not sure if you've noticed, but I haven't been around much lately. I haven't had a laptop to use for a while so I've found it a struggle to blog properly from my phone. Now, thanks to our Bella having a litter of lovely little puppies, we've been able to get a nice shiny (well, purple!) new laptop. I've already booked in a couple of tours in the coming months and I'm excited to get my head down and get doing this properly again. I love blogging so much and I feel a bit like a fraud when I'm being sent all these amazing books and can only do a limited amount of sharing for them. Anyhoo, as you may have noticed, I said that our Bella has had pups! She and our oldest boy, Magic, welcomed a litter of 5 teeny, tiny Pomeranian puppies in early February. There were 2 girls and 3 boys and they are so cute! We are keepi

A high-flying job in a law firm, a beautiful daughter and a house to die for. So how does she find herself looking in through the kitchen window while another woman enjoys it all? When Sarah takes pity on a struggling young graduate who can’t get a job, she thinks she’s doing the right thing. She’s being kind, generous and helpful to others, as she always is. But as Sarah allows the younger woman into her home, her law firm and even her family, is there more to this pretty youngster than meets the eye? And could this be a good deed that goes further than expected? Claudia Carroll does it
